Now that the lazy, hazy “dog” days of summer have come and gone, it is time to get down to some serious reviewing.  And, luckily, I am as horny as a bitch in heat.  This is the second review in my “Strange Sex Toys Indeed” series.  And, as you may have expected from the intro, it is a life-size replica of a Timber Wolf penis by Zeta Paws.

Zeta Paws is “an adult toy company that specializes in the creation of [silicone sex] toys modeled after animals,” including canine, equine, as well as fantasy creations like the Gryphon.  They also have jelly toys including marine and feline phalluses, but their jelly line is being discontinued in favor of the superior silicone, so soon all their toys will be available in silicone.

Okay, you may ask the obvious question.  Why animal dicks?  Well, there are a whole bunch of fetishes that fall under the “animal” category that involve anthropomorphism (the attribution of human characteristics to non-human creatures and beings), Furries (pertains to an interest in anthropomorphic animals and/or mythological or imaginary creatures which possess human or superhuman capabilities) Furry Fandom (refers to the fandom for fictional anthropomorphic animal characters with human personalities and characteristic) and zoophilia (an actual erotic interest in real animals aka bestiality).  Anthropomorphism, Furries and Furry Fandom do not necessarily have an erotic component, and the people who engage in sex as furries are called furverts by the main community for giving them a “bad name”.  Still, many of our mythologies have stories of human / animal sexual interactions, or that of humans and animal hybrids such as werewolves, sirens, centaurs, and of course mermaids.

I think wolves are pretty cool animals, so having to choose from the various animal penises available from Zeta Paws, the Timber Wolf was an obvious choice.  Not that I would ever want to do it doggie-style with a real wolf, but I have had my own sexual werewolf fantasies.

My Timber Wolf Dildo is made of high quality silicone, and consists of a red shaft and head (very life-like) with a black base.  You can order your dildo in various degrees of firmness from soft, medium and hard.  Medium is recommended, so that’s what I went with, but in retrospect, I think I would have preferred hard.  I think it is very cool that they give you a choice as I haven’t seen this offered by other manufacturers before.  The phallus is quite realistic from the uncircumcised head, to the bulging ball sac, and everything in between including intricately carved veins and textured skin.  Mr. Bear, the talented creator of these unusual dildos obviously takes great pride in his work and values attention-to-detail and realism.  The Timber Wolf Dildo is superbly designed for both aesthetic poise and practical use.  It come packaged in a sealed plastic bag and is coated with talc (so it doesn’t stick to the bag) so make sure to wash it well with soap and water before use (which you should do with any new toy, obviously).

So, how does it feel?  The head and shaft can be inserted 4 ½” before it widens at the bulge which makes you feel quite full.  I don’t really have another sex toy that I can compare it with, as it is softer than more silicone dildos I have used in the past.  The softness is not bad, just different, although I do prefer a firmer cock, or at least my G-spot does.  As you may or may not know, when canines get it on, the male’s cock becomes very ridged and swells, so the penis can’t be removed from his mate until he gets the job done.  So, were I to get another wolf dildo, I would go for the harder firmness.  Although, the firmness of the medium is certainly firm enough fuck you silly.  Another great feature of this dildo is that it has a stand-up suction-cup base, so you can suction it to a hard chair or wall (for doggie-style) and enjoy hands-free penetration.  This also allows it to fit into a leather harness for use as a strap-on.
