The Crystal Delights Pink Frost Plug is a beautiful glass sex toy made by Crystal Delights. Crystal Delights is a company that focuses on providing sensual, sexy, natural sex toys that are safe for you body. Along with that, the company gets their nickname because they include a beautiful Swarovski in the base of each one of the different toys they sell. The packaging and included storage with any Crystal Delights toy is always downright phenomonal. This Crystal Frost plug is no different. It comes in a little black pouch that folds in on itself for optimal storage and padding. Along with this pouch (which works downright amazingly for storage!), this plug also comes with a sample package of lubricant as well as a very cute business card for Crystal Delights. The business card includes care and use instructions, contact information for this company as well as a cute, complimentary Swarovski zipper pull that I put on my backpack.

The Crystal Frost is made from Pyrex Glass. Pyrex glass is completely safe for the body, and it’s made even safer for sex toys because it does not shatter. It will never, ever shatter or break during use, and if you drop it, it will break into large chunks instead of breaking into small pieces. Pyrex glass is even more comfortable for use because it requires minimal lubricant during use because of the slick, smooth surface. Each Crystal Delights item, including this one, are hand-crafted, and each is made with concern for environment and your body as top priorities. After each product’s body is made, the toy is given a beautiful, sparkling Swarovski gem.

The boyfriend and I really like the smaller size of this plug. In the past, some of Crystal Delight’s plugs were bigger in diameter and longer in the retention shaft. However, this small-size Crystal Frost fixes all of that. The smaller bulb size makes it a perfect plug – even for beginners! Unless you require a large, filling sensation, this smaller plug is absolutely perfect because it’s pretty easy to insert as an absolute beginner, and it’s pretty much perfect for an intermediate user. This also can work as a warm-up or playful plug for those who enjoy the really large toys as well. The retention shaft is perfect too; it’s just the right length without being too long, too thick, or too short.

The boyfriend said he had absolutely no problem inserting this plug. The diameter is actually a bit less than the iRide we regularly use. A small bit of lubricant, and it pops in very easily. It also stays in as well which is the neat part. The retention shaft is made perfectly, and we didn’t have any problems with the plug sliding out. I can’t say that we were exercising and moving around to try and force it, but with regular movement and readjustment, the plug did not fall out. The boyfriend made mention of the slight heaviness to the plug. It doesn’t feel anything like stainless steel, but it’s a bit heavier than alternative silicone plugs, and it feels good like that. The heft of the glass makes sure to “remind” you that the glass plug is still in while the weight doesn’t become uncomfortable either.

The plug looks downright gorgeous while inserted. Really. It’s downright and completely gorgeous. You can see the gem beautifully once the plug is inserted. The round, wide gemed-base doesn’t make this the most comfortable base to sit on if you have a smaller, less-fat butt, and the boyfriend usually ends up laying around or lounging with it in. He says it’s okay as long as it’s a padded surface, but if it’s something like a wooden chair, he says it pushes uncomfortably on the plug. He really does like the sensation that this plug provides, though, and that it’s very easy to use and the slight weight reminds him of the “naughty” thing that he’s doing at the time.

I really like the texture of this plug. We own a couple other Crystal Delights plugs, and each one has amazing quality and just looks beautiful. Along with that, the other two items I own are plain, clear glass with beautiful designs. However, the Crystal Frost actually has a frosted surface. This, surprisingly, feels different than the plain, clear surface. It has a bit more of a texture to it, and your fingers don’t glide over the surface quite as easily. It is not, however, tacky or anything; it’s still glass, and it’s still very slick, but this frosted aspect adds a neat and unique feel to it. It does take slightly more lubricant than a non-frosted plug though, and since this is a plug, I always recommend using lubricant for anal use anyway.

Cleaning this beautiful sex toy is very easy. Since it’s Pyrex glass, you just need to use soap. Because boiling or putting this toy in the dishwasher would harm the gem, you can not use either method for sterilization. If you wanted to sterilize this toy, you would have to use a bleach solution. With proper care, this glass sex toy could easily last a lifetime. It’s compatible with both silicone and water-based lubricants, and the storage pouch works wonderfully from keeping this beautiful glass plug from getting into any harm. As long as it has the proper padding to protect it, you can keep the Crystal Frost anywhere you’d like as it doesn’t pick up lint.

I’m in love with the Crystal Frost and so is the boyfriend. It’s one of the most beautiful and most pleasurable glass plugs we’ve ever used, and it’s hard to find a glass plug that’s also this beginner-friendly as well. The gem looks gorgeous, and the entire plug looks great. As long as we take care of this glass toy properly, we’re looking forward to having this for a lifetime.
