Good Clean Love- Perfect Products for a Perfect World!
A few months back I had the opportunity to review Good Clean Love’s Almost Naked Personal Lubricant. I fell in love with this product and for many reasons (all detailed below) and wanted to try their other products to see if they are just as good. Well I have to say that Good Clean Love makes some of the best natural, organic and yes green sensual love products available on the market today.
So here’s the scoop!
About the Company
“Good Clean Love is a certified Coop America Green Company that sells only the finest all natural and organic green products for your health and sexual enhancement. The majority of personal lubricants on the market are made with petrochemicals and preserved with methyl and propyl parabens. Good Clean Love personal lubricants are organic and we use only natural ingredients that not only feel good, but are good for you.”-from GoodCleanLove.com
With the tag-line, “Making love sustainable” Good Clean Love not only uses organic, natural ingredients in their products, but they also try to use sustainable packing. This includes the awesome little cardboard sample packet’s of lube, as well as the lovely blue glass bottle the products come in. So way to go!
My Lubricating Philosophy
It doesn’t make sense to me to use lubricants that contain potentially dangerous petro-chemicals that have been linked to cancer, or products that contain parabens, synthetic fragrances, propylene glycol and other ingredients that can irritate the sensitive tissues of the vulva and vagina. I try to eat organic vegetables and buy locally grown products, so why would I not treat my sex life with the same love and respect? With all the body-negative personal lubricants on the market today adding to our overall body burden, what’s a girl to do? Go green I say. Good Clean Love is the perfect lube for a perfect world.
Almost Naked Personal Lubricant
When I first reviewed Almost Naked Personal Lube I was really blown away. Not only did it not contain all the horrible chemicals that I don’t want in my body, but it is a stellar lube and even tastes good-naturally. Sweet! This lube feels and tastes so sensual, you will never want to use anything else. The flavor although sweet is very subtle and not at all overpowering.
This is a water-based lube (which tends to be my favorite type for solo play) and is fairly thick, which means it goes where you apply it and doesn’t get runny. It is not as slick as a silicone lubricant, dries up faster, and will tend to get sticky unless you rejuvenate it with a bit of saliva or more lubricant. That said, it has more than enough staying power for a 20 minute solo session or romp. It is absolutely the bomb for oral sex and is so delicious. I most often will choose a water-based lube over a silicone one just because silicone is a chemical and I prefer not to put that on my pussy. One precaution with this lube, is that it contains glycerin and glucose, both of which can trigger yeast infections in women who are prone to them. Since I am not, I have had no problems with this lube what-so-ever.
Correction: Please read Wendy’s comments (Owner of Good Clean Love) in which she clarifies the amount of (glucose .01% and glycerine (7%) in this lube. Also she goes on to say, “Additionally, just as they are, our products have no reported incidents of yeast infections, even at the pelvic pain clinics where we are recommended and sold. I believe it is because the ingredients are such a small percentage of the overall formula.”
Ingredients: Deionized Water, Agar, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice, Xanthan Gum, Vegetable Glycerin, Glucose, Lactoperoxidase, Glucose Oxidase, Benzoic Acid, Citris Medica Limonum (Lemon), Vanilla Planifola Fruit. Strawberry also contains: Hibiscus Sabdrariffa Leaf, Rosa Canina Fruit Extract, Orange Peel Extract, Chicory Root Extract, and Blackberry Fruit Extract. Cinnamon Vanilla also contains: Cinnamomum Cassia Bark. Lavender Rose also contains: Lavender, Rosa Damascena Flower.
Love Oils: Origin and Indian Spice
I am an essence oil freak ever since the born-again-hippie days of my youth when I used to load on the patchouli and sandalwood much to some people’s dismay.
So when the Body Shop stopped selling their essence oils, I was seriously stressed. How else was I going to get that pure essence oil in a combination of scents that I could conjure differently for every intimate mood or special moment? I mean, there is something magical about a scent, the way it can transport you to another place or time, or how it can seep into your senses and create an erotic or romantic mood. I used to think my essence oils could drift toward potential partners and snag them in my web of desire.
Well, thank you to Good Clean Love for making their fabulous Love Oils. Now I can throw away those old nasty bottles of dried up essence oils I’ve been clinging to for years. I tried both the original Origin Love Oil and the Indian Spice. Both are wonderful scents, but each for different moods. They are meant to be used as massage oils or for aromatherapy, but I enjoy also putting them in my bath, using them on my hot spots like a perfume and also on my light bulbs to add a scent to a room.
The Origin Love Oil has a fresh, citrus scent that gets a bit spicier and earthier as you rub it in. It is a very subtle fragrance, so would be perfect for people who think less is more. I like to use this scent to get me in a relaxed mood after a stressful day.
The Indian Spice is very much like the hippie concoction of essence oils I used to mix together to incite my lovers to overpowering urges of lust. It has a deep woodsy, spicy scent with a hint of cloves and smells exotic. I use this scent in my bath, and behind my ears as well as in my hair before a date with one of my lovers.
Both scents work wonderfully as massage oils as well. They are slick and absorb into the skin without leaving it greasy, leaving the skin soft and subtle. So whether you are naughty or nice, sugar or spice, Good Clean Love has Love Oils for all your moods and multiple personalities!
Cocoa Mint Body Dessert
How to you spell De-li-cious? Cocoa Mint Body Dessert! If you have read any of my flavored product reviews, you will know I am not a fan of flavored products on the whole. Most of them I despise, because they taste artificial and leave a yucky aftertaste. Well, Cocoa Mint Body Dessert is 100% natural, which means it tastes just like it sounds, and is not some strange man-made flavor that is supposed to resemble chocolate mint. It comes in a little tin and is a thick waxy organic body butter that once rubbed into the skin smells and tastes like chocolate with a hint of mint. It melts in easily with the body’s warmth creating a rich, edible delight that is sure to tempt your taste buds.
Coral Jasmine Love Flowers Perfume
Good Clean Love also makes organic flower essence scents, like the Coral Jasmine Love Flowers Perfume. These are small glass bottles and feature a roll-on applicator. This is the only product I didn’t like the scent of, and that is because I don’t like Jasmine. I don’t know why, but something about it reminds me of my old dead grandmother which is not at all sexy. I know Jasmine is the fragrance of love/lust, but I’ve never been able to choke the scent down. That said, this scent is very powerful and a little goes a long way. So if you like Jasmine this would be a great product. If you don’t, luckily Good Clean Love makes ten other Love Flower Essences to choose from like Lavender which I would have loved.
So that’s the scoop on Good Clean Love. Amazing products that are natural, organic and green made with quality ingredients. Good for your body and good of the earth. What more could a girl want? Perfect products for a Perfect World!

Thanks for such kind words about our love products! I did want to clarify about your comments on our lube ingredient base. The vegetable glycerin and glucose in our products are used in a very small percentage (glucose .01% and glycerine (7%) as preservatives. This allows us to not use product ingredients like methyl and propyl parabens. Still the preservative ingredient choices that exist are limited, and we are continuously trying to improve our formula. We hope soon to have another option which has just been released from a european lab to replace both ingredients.
Additionally, just as they are, our products have no reported incidents of yeast infections, even at the pelvic pain clinics where we are recommended and sold. I believe it is because the ingredients are such a small percentage of the overall formula. We will keep you updated on our new and improved formulas…
Thank you Wendy! Well, I know I have not had any problems with the lubes myself at all. It is good to know that your haven’t heard of any problems with yest infections with the lubes. I think they are fantastic. It is good to know that you are improving on the formulations as well! Thank you for letting us know! 🙂
I had a few sample packets of Almost Naked but I wasn’t really impressed. It was tooo thick for my tastes, almost solid! It wouldn’t budge from where I had applied it on a toy.
