Solar Eco-friendly Bullet Review & Contest

Solar Eco-friendly Bullet Review

The Solar “Eco-friendly” Bullet is the only solar powered sex toy on the market currently.  There were a few other vibes that were solar powered by they have stopped manufacturing them.  I have a solar powered calculator that I’ve had for years (still works!) so it is not a giant leap to make a solar powered sex toy.  And, much better than a hand-cranked one, believe me.  Plus, not batteries to fill up landfills, so big bonus.

So, how does it work?  The directions are right on the box (packaging) which is just a cardboard box that can be recycled (no clamshell packaging- bonus #2).  It features “green” leafy background with the solar bullet pictured on the front, and says: “The Totally Renewable Sun-Powered Stimulator”.  The box is printed to environmentally responsible Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) approved standards in a socially and economically viable way.

To use, you place the power pack (a flat, rectangular controller that looks like a small iPhone with a solar cell screen for absorbing the sunlight energy) in the direct sun (or other light source such as a lamp) for 8 hours to get a full charge.  That will give you 1 hour of vibes.  If you live in a place like I do where it rains a lot or is cloudy (in the spring anyway) it is good to know you can power it from a lamp.  Of course, I had to test this vibe the rainiest day in April (April Showers!) so had to use a lamp to charge it up.  A blue LED light on the side of the power pack indicates it is in charging mode.

Eight hours later…

Now that you’ve got your solar power pack juiced up, you plug in the “micro” bullet (2.25” x 6”) that attaches by a 34” cord into the jack.  Then another LED light on the tip of the vibe lights up to tell you it is charged.  You can then turn the vibe on using a slider that slide from low to high for a range of multi-speed vibration strengths.

And, wow!  What a powerful little bullet this is!  I was pretty amazed when I switched it on and got a high powered buzz from it in my hand, vibrating up my arm.  What it can do for your clit is another story.  Let’s just say it is a freaky-deaky little vibe that is sure to fire you up.  And, all from solar power.  How cool is that?  Plus, the vibe is coated in velvet cote, so it is super smooth and feels fantastic.
