Pussy Pumps Reviews

Comparison reviews of two Pussy Pumps: the Pussy Pump Plus in Purple by Doc Johnson and the Fetish Fantasy High Intensity Pussy Pump by Pipedreams both from PinkCherry.com.

My BF and I were watching a pussy pumping video and decided we wanted to try it.  So I asked PinkCherry.com if they could send me a couple to review.  I wanted to do a comparison review because sometimes one will work better than the other, and you can get a better idea of how to use a toy while trying out a new type of play, when you try a couple to compare.

The Pussy Pump Plus by Doc Johnson

The Pussy Pump Plus by Doc Johnson is the larger of the two pumps, with a 6 ½” length, while approximately the same width as the other pump at 3”.  It is made of ABS plastic with a rubber gasket (for a secure fit), and a pull grip handle with quick release valve.  It is clear so you can see the pumping action and light purple.  The suction cup is slightly curved for better suction where it meets the skin.

The Fetish Fantasy High Intensity Pussy Pump by Pipedreams

The Fetish Fantasy High Intensity Pussy Pump by Pipedreams is slightly smaller in length at 5 ½” and has a 3” width.  Again, made of ABS plastic and rubber, with a rubber gasket, and bulb style squeeze pump.  The whole assembly is clear and the suction cup has a pronounced curve at the base.

Usage

I found the Doc Johnson cup fit better around my vulva and in turn had more suction.  It was also more comfortable as the Pipedreams one with the extreme curve made it uncomfortable to wear and to get a good seal.  However, the Pipedreams squeeze bulb was easier to use and allowed for more pumping action, whereas the Doc Johnson pull grip only allowed you to slowing pump as it took a while for it to go down so you could re-squeeze.  Solution?  Exchange hoses and squeeze handles.

This worked amazing actually, with the Doc Johnson pump cup and the Pipedreams squeeze bulb, I got tightest fit, the best suction and the easiest way to continue adding suction.  I was able to get pumped up to fill have of the cup, which was quite impressive.  I could have filled it the whole way, except the pain would have been too much, so we kept it to where I was pumped up, but comfortable.

Tips

  • Make sure to shave or wax before using a pussy pump to get the best seal.  Also use lubricant around your mound to ensure better seal and suction.
  • You could comfortably leave this on for up to an hour, if you haven’t suctioned too extreme.  Although, taking the pump and yourself to your limits is challenging and interesting.
  • Gradually pump the pump, so you or your partner can become accustomed to the sensation, before pumping more.  Communicate with each other if it is getting too intense or painful.
  • Use the quick release valve if the sensation becomes too intense.
  • Use a mirror so you can see the results too!

What did it Feel Like?

Strangely, and highly erotic.  I felt very exposed and super wet, as if the suction was pulling the juices out of me.  It looked pretty cool too, with my lips, and vulva swollen and pumped.  I did find an increased blood flow and heightened sensitivity during and after use as well, which is a big bonus.

My BF was very aroused by my engorged pussy and really enjoyed the pumps.  It was cool to allow another person to play with and stretch my limits a bit as well.

All in all, I would recommend the Doc Johnson pump over the Pipedreams one, as I think it would fit more people because of the larger size and fit more securely, because of the design.

Pussy pumping is very erotic, and great for exploring and playing with your lover.  I’m not sure how well it would work solo, as it may be awkward, but not impossible, to use yourself.  But, used together with a partner it is exciting and sensual fun.

You can get both the  Pussy Pump Plus in Purple by Doc Johnson and the  Fetish Fantasy High Intensity Pussy Pump by Pipedreams from  PinkCherry.com.  Or, buy them both, for the perfect pussy pump.
