Climax Bursts Anti-Bacterial Toy Cleaner
Climax Bursts by Topco has recently come out with a new line of specialty sexual lubricants and an anti-bacterial toy cleaner as well. I reviewed the Climax Burst Warming lubricant at Viviane’s Sex Carnival and didn’t much care for it.
The toy cleaner seems to work fine. It lathered up well, the beads burst open, releasing Vitamin E (for enriched skin protection) and left my toys shiny and new looking. I don’t like it as much as spray antibacterial cleaner, as you could just use soap and water if you wanted to clean your toy in the sink. Maybe the Vitamin E helps keep the toy shiny though. It does also say that it is specially formulated for cleaning sex toys, so perhaps it is different than say, antibacterial hand soap.
One thing I was a bit concerned with is that it contains fragrance. As soon as you open the bottle you notice “shampoo” type scent. It is not overpowering, but I don’t think scent is necessary in an antibacterial toy cleaner. Although I realize that manufacturers love to make things smell pretty, I would prefer if they didn’t add unnecessary additives to products myself.
I will still use the product however, as it worked well, and many products I use on my skin (face and body wash) contain fragrance. It is actually hard to find a product that doesn’t contain some sort of fragrance, even when it is for sensitive skin. I also liked the easy-to-use pop-top lid.
