Babeland Naturals Organic Lube & Pleasure Essentials Massage Kit
Babeland Naturals Organic Lube- Fresh
Consumers are becoming more and more concerned with what they put in their bodies, and sexual lubricants are no different. Just this week Time Magazine did a feature on green sex products and Babeland’s Naturals Organic Lube was a featured hot item.
I am a big fan of natural organic lubricants, which are water-based, and I have always liked water-based lubes better for several reasons. The main reason is because they feel more like your natural juices than synthetic materials like silicone lubes. Sure, silicone is an excellent body-friendly choice for sex toys, but for lubricants they can coat the skin and mucus membranes and don’t allow it to breath. Water-based lubes simply absorb into the skin and the natural organic types like Babeland’s Naturals often have skin-healing ingredients like Aloe.
Compared to my favorite organic lubricants: Yes, Good Clean Love and Intimate Organics Hydra; Babeland’s Naturals Organic Lube works equally as well as a lubricant for jill’in off or partner sex. The one I was given to try—Fresh—has a slight mint aroma (due to peppermint leaf) and tastes a bit like mint and citrus. It comes in a nice blue glass bottle to protect it against sunlight with a quick and easy-to-use pump, so you get just the right amount you want, no spills. I probably would have preferred the Naked instead of the Fresh, just because I’m not a huge lover of mint or coolness in a lube, but the feeling and taste was not off-putting, desensitizing or irritating, like some products I have tried.
Overall, Babeland’s Naturals Organic Lube a great personal lubricant.
Pleasure Essentials Massage Kit
Babeland also sent me their Pleasure Essentials Massage Kit. This is a great little travel kit featuring some of Babeland’s popular brand name massage products in small sample sizes, so is a great way to try out many of their products without buying the whole cow. The kits are grouped by flavors and scents into different colored kits: pink, blue, orange and yellow. The Blue one I received had a Pashima massage candle (light floral), Himalayan White Tea Massage Oil Spray, Pleasure Massage Oil and Pleasure Massage Bar, and a Mojoti Peppermint flavored lube and Pleasure Lickable oil. The whole kit comes in a little plastic container.
It was fun exploring the different tastes, scents and sensual textures of each product to see how they compared. I love the Himalayan White Tea scents, but again, was not partial to the mint. As, someone who hates mint gum and always buys vanilla, mint in a sensual product just doesn’t work for me. I probably would have liked any of the other combinations (citrus, vanilla or lavender) much more, as all three are my favorite scents. But, no matter what scents/flavors you like, Babeland’s Pleasure Essentials Massage Kit is sure to have one for you.
You can buy the Pleasure Essentials Massage Kit at Babeland until the end of October and they will donate 20% of sales to fighting breast cancer. So a great deal all around!
This product has sugar in the form of glucose. Anything with
glucose is no good for the penis. Viruses bacteria all thrive
in it.
Hi Joe. You are correct, Babeland’s Natural organic Lube does have Vegetable Glycerin, Glucose, & Glucose Oxidase, all of which are “sugars”. Almost all water-based lubes do in fact contain sugars in some degree. I have never heard of glucose being bad for the penis or causing bacteria infections, but do know that it can “promote” yeast infection in women who are prone to them. If you are worried about glycerin or glucose you might want to try Babeland’s Babelube which has neither- http://store.babeland.com/safe-sex-lubes/babelube-babeland-lube or their silicone lube- http://store.babeland.com/safe-sex-lubes/babelube-silicone
