Kama Sutra’s Treasure Trove Raspberry Kiss

Kama Sutra’s Treasure Trove Raspberry Kiss contains a wonderful collection of Kama Sutra’s most popular products including Kama Sutra’s Pleasure Balm, Honey Dust, and Oil of Love, but all with a raspberry twist.  The box is bright pink and very pretty in design.  As soon as you open you smell the scent of raspberries, which made my mouth water.  I felt like I was instantly transported back to a mid-summer’s dream, in a meadow where raspberries grow wild in the sun.  It was only an instant, but a nice reverie all the same.

All the products have a sweet/sour taste of raspberry which is quite tasty.  The Raspberry Kiss Oil of Love is a sensual warming lubricant. It provides a subtle warmth when massaged into the skin, which is enhanced with blowing or licking, making it ideal for oral play. It has a luxurious sensual flavor and the feel that enhances intimacy.  The Oil of Love is one of my favorite Kama Sutra products, tied with their massage oils and the Treasures of the Sea bath salts. The “oil” itself is thick and not oil at all, but a water-based product that has a syrupy texture. It feels very sensual on the erogenous zones, such as the nipples and genitals.

The Raspberry Kiss Honey Dust is an excellent product that is just as functional as it is pleasure-enhancing. The base is cornstarch which is naturally absorbent and is often used as a safe and natural alternative to talc or baby powder. It is best known for its sensual properties, however, and is made from powdered honey that has a pleasant flavor, especially once it has absorbed into the skin. It comes with a small handmade feather applicator that can be used to apply the powder to the skin or for sensual and tickle play.  It is also great to dust your sheets with, leaving them nice and dry and enhancing your senses for sex play.  Powered honey is used in many cosmetics and has been used since the time of Cleopatra for its healing, anti-aging and moisturizing properties, so it excellent for the skin. It has a silky, fine texture and leaves the skin feeling soft and sweetly scented.

The Raspberry Kiss Pleasure Balm is the only product in the Treasure Trove that I had any issues with. It is a desensitizing balm that uses menthol as the active ingredient. A desensitizing balm is used to numb the genitals (mainly in men) for prolonging arousal and premature ejaculation. It may work well for that purpose, but I don’t enjoy numbing my clitoris.  I actually find the pleasure balm is much too strong for my sensitive girly bits and I don’t recommend it for women.  It is also meant to be used in moderation, so a very little drop will do a lot.  Always use caution with any stimulating type products.
