Three Lube Review
There is not a lot to say about lubes. They either work or they don’t. They stay wet, or dry quickly. So, since I have three lubes to review, I though I would do them all together in one review to compare and contrast. All three lubes are very different. The first Pjur Woman Bodyglide is silicone, the second O’My Original is natural and water-based and the third, Climax Bursts Cooling is a sensation lube. So on to the reviews.
Pjur Woman Bodyglide may be the best lubricant I have ever tried. I am a big fan of Eros lubricants to begin with, so when they came out with a lube specifically formulated for a woman’s sensitivity, I wanted to try it right away. Although Eros lubes tend to be more expensive than other silicone-based lubes, I find they are much higher quality and well worth the price. This lube has a slippery, silken consistency and a little goes a long way because it is super concentrated. Unlike many water-based lubes, there is no need to reapply and it never gets sticky. It simply just absorbs into the skin leaving it moisturized and feeling great.
Pjur Woman Bodyglide is perfect for solo or partner sex, feeling very natural just like your own juices. I have sensitive skin, so choosing products for myself is always a challenge. I have never had any problems with Pjur as it is made for sensitive skin with all natural ingredients and no preservatives, fragrance or chemicals. It is no wonder it is recommended by doctors and pharmacists. Pjur is also latex safe, so no worries about breaking down condoms.
I love my Pjur Woman Bodyglide and don’t know how I ever lived without it!
About a year ago I tried O’My flavored lubes. I’m not a big fan of flavored lubes for several reason. One is that they tend to have sugars (or glycerin) and get very sticky. I have always heard people praise this lube however, and wanted to give it another chance, so decided to try the original which is not flavored.
O’My Original is an all-natural lubricant and is made of hemp. It has a slightly sweet flavor because of its organic composition, yet is sugar-free for women prone to yeast infections. Unfortunately, I found that this lube became very sticky with extended use. I have other water-based lubes that last much longer and just absorb into the skin. I’ll have to pass on this lube once again. I am a granola girl and really wanted to like it, because it is all natural and organic which is a major bonus. What is basically comes down to though is–does it work? For me it didn’t, but everyone is different and this is most likely a great lubricant for some.
The Climax Bursts Collection is a new product line from Topco. I reviewed the Climax Bursts Warming Lube not long ago and found it didn’t really light my fire [read my review]. This cooling lube, unlike the warming lube, is a fairly effective sensation product however. It cools you genitals gradually, feeling like sucking in a breath with a cough drop in your mouth, except that it is on your other lips. This is a good sensation play lube, but it dries up fairly quickly when using it just for a sexual lubricant and becomes sticky. Although I wouldn’t use this lube all the time, it is fun to try, especially for those who are interested in playing with different kinds of sensations during sex.

I’ve been a fan of Pjur Bodyglide for a while now, and have both the original and the for women. I have to say I really can’t tell much of a difference between the two, other than packaging – but they’re both fantastic, and my favourite silicone lube, bar none! (My favourite water-based is Yes Lube.) I’m delighted you like it too!
