Church of Sinvention-Bondage Cuffs Review

I spend hours on the web searching out unique manufacturers of quality sex toys and bondage gear.  I was thrilled to find the Church of Sinvention, a quality leather store in southern Ontario that designs and creates premium leather bondage gear for bdsm play.  Located in a 125 year old church, the traditional leather artisans lead by head leather crafter Mother of Sinvention, create beautiful leatherworks including everything from bondage restraints and collars, dildo harnesses, cock and ball devices, paddles and spankers, as well as their wonderfully designed line of pony gear and fetish collars that are made nowhere else.  They have been in business for ten years and have been gathering a loyal following ever since.

Their customer service is excellent and I had the opportunity to commune with Mother of Sinvention herself who wonderfully accommodated my needs.  You can tell that the artists behind the leather gear take absolute pride in their product and work using only quality welded heavy hardware, solid steel rivets and premium “vegetable tanned” leathers to produce their fabulous works.  As a fetish/ bdsm enthusiast herself, Mother of Sinvention knows the importance of comfort, strength and durability when it comes to leather bondage gear.  She has many years of experience as a leather artisan, and shares her skills and knowledge with her staff.

These areas of the world have strict guidelines for both waste disposal and employee standards. My Review of the Classic Deluxe Bondage Restraints

I received the Classic Deluxe 2 1/2″ Restraints with Rings from the Church of Sinvention in my order.  I have several other handcrafted leather wrist cuffs made from various artisans from around the world.  I can truly say I have never seen quality like this.

When I first opened my package I noticed the strong smell of new leather and pressed one of the cuffs to my nose.  I imagined how wonderful it would be to be enclosed in a hood made of this premium leather.  Absolutely sinful!  When I picked up the cuffs I noted the weight.  These cuffs are serious bondage gear: solid, thick leather with a nice weight.  You know you are wearing something substantial and not just fluff cuffs when you put these on.  My wrists are very small and when my partner put the restraints on me they fit super snug, yet there were still two notches left for even smaller wrists.  They also fit my partner’s wrists and his are large, so they are very adjustable.  I like the details on the cuffs too, like the perfect stitching, the smooth silver hardware and the lockable roller buckle closure that slides easily into the vertical slots.  You can tell a lot of thought and experience went into the design of these by the well thought-out details.

The cuffs are fairly stiff at first, because of the heavy leather and strong quality, but it only takes a few evenings of bondage and discipline for them to become flexible and begin to mould to you perfectly.  They are extremely comfortable to wear, even after long durations and never chafe or irritate as only the leather ever touches your skin.  They come in various colour combinations.  I ordered the red on black cuffs with the extra large O rings, which look great with my read and black leather corset.

I love my new bondage cuffs by Sinvention and have been converted to their flock.  I look forward to trying out many of their other products in the future including their Ergonomic Foot Suspension devices, Form Fit Breast Bondage Cuffs, and beautifully unique Pony Gear Bridles complete with feather plumes and pony ears.
