Tips for Wearing Latex Gloves

Remove any rings or jewelry to avoid tears.  Powder your arms and hands with Talcum Powder first as well as the inside of the gloves.  Latex is a very fragile and can easily tear if pulled too hard.  Avoid using your nails to pull the gloves on as well.  Roll the gloves down and gently pull them on, roll them back up until snug.

Shine your latex Gloves with a silicone-based polish or lubricant.  There are several types of latex polish available, but I find silicone lubricants work just as well.  Do NOT use oil-based lubes as this will deteriorate the fabric.  Use a soft cloth to rub the lubricant in and allow it to soak in.  Re-polish again until you get a shiny, mirror finish.

When removing gloves gently roll them down, remove and turn them inside out then wipe with a damp cloth.  The gloves must then be thoroughly dried and powdered on the inside after use. Do not use water on the outside surface as this can affect the finish of the latex and cause spotting.  Do not use soaps or other chemicals to clean the gloves as they are susceptible to damage.

Store your latex in a dry place, preferably hanging (do not use metal hangers) away from heat and sunlight.
